I think some of this is a paperwork issues as Mexico’s economy minister said 85-90% of trade from Mexico to the US could be made eligible under USMCA requirements. He said around 10-12% of companies could have difficulties complying with USMCA but they will work with them in the coming 3 weeks to help them comply. He noted that the auto sector is the area with the most significant part of the group that isn’t compliant.
