Good morning!

The GIFT Nifty was little changed at 24,545, indicating a muted open for the Nifty 50.

Asian shares advanced after signals from the Trump administration pointed to progress in trade talks, and Federal Reserve officials indicated they may consider rate cuts sooner than expected.

On Thursday, The S&P 500 rose 2%, while Nasdaq 100 climbed 2.8% and Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.2%.

Back home, India’s headline indices snapped a seven-day winning streak on Thursday. The Nifty 50 ended 82.25 points, or 0.34% down at 24,246.70, and the Sensex ended 315.06 points, or 0.39% lower at 79,801.43.

Axis Bank Ltd. and Tech Mahindra Ltd. were among the top companies that announced their quarterly results after Thursday’s close. Investors are now watching out for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd.’s quarterly results on Friday.
