State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. is slated to announce its Q3 earnings this week. The company, which works as the construction arm of the Indian Railways, has already informed the bourses about the schedule for releasing the financial statements for the quarter and nine-month period ending Dec. 31, 2024. 

RVNL was established under the National Rail Vikas Yojana (NRVY) announced by the central government in 2002. The core objectives of RVNL include sourcing additional financial resources and expediting the implementation of projects aimed at expanding rail infrastructure. RVNL Q3 Results: Date And Time

In an exchange filing on Feb. 11, RVNL said that the meeting its board of directors which was scheduled on Wednesday, Feb. 12, has been postponed and rescheduled due to “unavoidable circumstances” on Friday, Feb. 14.

“With reference to our letter dated 04.02.2025 mentioned above, the Meeting of the Board of Directors which was scheduled on Wednesday, 12th February, 2025, has been postponed and rescheduled due to unavoidable circumstances on Friday, 14th February, 2025, inter alia, to consider, approve and take on record the Unaudited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended 31st December, 2024,” the company said.

As per SEBI, trading in the securities of the company will remain suspended for designated persons and their immediate relatives till 48 hours after the result is announced.  

RVNL Share Price History

Shares of RVNL have declined nearly 6% over the past five trading sessions on the National Stock Exchange. The stock has slipped around 3% in the past month while declining 33.70% in the last six months. Over a year, the share price of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd has surged more than 66%.

RVNL Q2 Earnings Highlights

RVNL registered a subdued financial performance in the second quarter of FY25, with net profits dropping 27% year-on-year to Rs 286.9 crore against Rs 394.4 crore in the year-ago period. Revenues also saw some decline, falling 1.2% YoY to Rs 4,854.95 crore against Rs 4,914.3 crore in the year-ago period. Ebitda slumped 9% to Rs 271.5 crore from Rs 298.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
