Gold Prices Decline
Gold prices declined Tuesday as traders await to see US economic data to assess the impact of tariffs. The Gold future was trading 0.14% down at $3,341.50 an ounce as of 8:04 a.m.
US will release its GDP, jobs, and inflation data this week.

Asia-Pacific markets advanced Tuesday. Market participants await a slew of economic data from the US and earnings from mega technology companies this week.

The KOSPI and S&P ASX 200 were trading and 0.83% and 0.73% higher, respectively as of 8:01 a.m.
US Market Update: S&P 500 Extends Gains To Fifth Day
US share indices erased losses at the late hours with the S&P 500 rising for a fifth day. The index posted the best winning streak since November. Market participants await US jobs, inflation, and economic growth data along with heavy-weight corporate earnings.
On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 ended 0.28% and 0.06% higher, respectively. The Nasdaq Composite ended 0.10% down.
GIFT Nifty Implies Higher Open; Gensol Engineering, IndusInd Bank & Trent Shares In Focus
The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.17% or 41 points higher at 24,467.00 as of 6:56 a.m., which implied a higher open for the Indian benchmark indices.
Gensol Engineering Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., and Trent Ltd. share prices may react in Tuesday’s session because of news flow and upcoming earnings.
Central Bank of India, UCO Bank, Adani Green Energy Ltd., PNB Housing Finance Ltd., Fino Payments Ltd. released their fourth quarter earnings. These stocks will also be in focus.
The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex rebounded from a two-day slump on Monday as Reliance Industries share price led. Moreover, fear about the trade war reduced subsequently, supporting the emerging markets’ assets.
The Nifty 50 ended 289.15 points or 1.20%, higher at 24,328.50, and the Sensex ended 1,005.84 points, or 1.27%, higher at 80,218.37.
