IndusInd Bank Ltd. share price may move in Wednesday’s session as the lender revealed its internal audit accounted a financial impact of Rs 1,979 crore due to derivative accounting discrepancies.

On March 10, the lender disclosed that it had identified discrepancies in account balances within its derivative portfolio. An internal review estimated an impact of approximately 2.35% of the bank’s net worth as of December 2024.

IndusInd Bank share price ended 6.67% higher at Rs 735.50 apiece on Tuesday.

The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.15% or 34.50 points down at 23,277.00 as of 6:50 a.m.

The benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 continued their upward trajectory to close higher for the second consecutive trading session on Tuesday.

Nifty 50 closed 2.19% higher at 23,328 as it gained 500 points. Meanwhile, the Sensex closed 2.10% higher at 76,734 on the heels of gaining 1,577 points.
