Oil Market Update: Crude Prices Trade At Over One-Month High
Crude oil prices were trading at over one-month high in Asia session on worries over Russia oil exports after the US President Donald Trump said that the country will curb crude shipments from Russia.
The June future contract of the brent crude was trading 0.12% higher at $74.83 a barrel as of 7:26 a.m. It rose to $74.91 a barrel so far, touching the highest level since Feb 25.
Asia Market Update: Most Share Indices Rise
Most markets in Asia-Pacific were trading higher Tuesday, tracking a rebound on Wall Street. The Nikkei 225 and KOSPI were trading 0.43% and 1.49% higher, respectively as of 7:24 a.m.
The Hang Seng and CSI 300 were trading 0.71% and 0.04% higher, respectively.
US Market Update: Most Share Indices End Off Lows
Most benchmark indices end off lows Monday on Wall Street. During the session, indices declined on tension ahead of imposition of reciprocal tariffs. The US benchmarks also posted their worst quarter since 2020, Bloomberg reported.
On Monday, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 1.00% and 0.55% higher, respectively. The Nasdaq Composite ended 0.14% down.

The GIFT Nifty was trading above 23,400 early on Tuesday. Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., ITC Ltd., Varun Beverages Ltd., and NCC Ltd. share prices may react due to news flow over the extended weekend.
The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.21% or 49 points, lower at 23,461.00 as of 6:54 a.m.
The Nifty snapped its five-month losing streak and the Sensex paused its three-month declining spree even as the benchmark equity indices ended with losses on Friday.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 72.60 points or 0.31% lower at 23,519.35, while the BSE Sensex closed 191.51 points or 0.25% down at 77,414.92.
