The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading 29 points or 0.12% lower at 24,092.50, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday. 

On Monday, 4 November, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex plunged 941.88 points or 1.18% to end at 78,782.24 while the Nifty50 traded 309 points higher or 1.27%, and settled at 23,995.35.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 5 November.

Quarterly Results Today: Dr Reddy’s Labs, Titan, PB Fintech, Mankind Pharma, Berger Paints, eClerx Services, Manappuram Finance, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Oil India, GAIL, Aptus Value Housing Finance, JK Tyre, Max Healthcare Institute, SJVN,  are some of the prominent companies that are set to release their quarterly earnings for July-September. 

Raymond: In its quarterly earnings for July-September, the company’s consolidated net profit doubled to Rs 59 crore from Rs 27.8 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. 

Zomato: The company has faced scrutiny from the FSSAI after they discovered incorrect packaging dates on mushroom packets from a vendor in its Hyperpure warehouse. 

NTPC: The company has formed a 50:50 joint venture with ONGC to drive its renewable energy ambitions. The new JV company will focus on wind, solar, green ammonia, green hydrogen, energy storage, and sustainable aviation fuel.

IRCTC: The total income of the company during the September quarter grew by 8.1% YoY to Rs 1,123 crore compared to Rs 1,039 crore in Q2FY24. The net profit of the company stood at Rs 307.8 crore, marking a 4.5% YoY increase against Rs 294.7 crore during Q2FY24. 

KEC International: The company’s net profit for the quarter ended 30 September stood at Rs 85.4 crore, marking a 53% year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rs 55.8 crore reported in the same quarter last year. 

Afcons Infrastructure: Jupiter India Fund, Nomura Funds Ireland India Equity Fund, Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund, and Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio have combined acquired a 2.7% stake in the company for a total investment of Rs 449.08 crore. 

National Stock Exchange: The NSE reported a 57% YoY increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,137 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, whereas the total income of the company stood at Rs 5,023 crore, marking a 25% YoY increase.
