Apple iPhone SE 4 launch was widely expected to happen on Tuesday, Feb. 11, but that did not happen. And now, Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that it will likely be happening next week. This comes after Gurman himself had posted on X that the iPhone SE 4 release date was set for this week. Notably, Gurman gets most of his Apple prophecies right and it was widely believed that the deadline he had posted about would turn out true.
Now, in his latest post on X on Feb. 12, Gurman posted this update, “New iPhone SE is still imminent and should be announced by next week, when the company is holding product briefings.”
To this Gurman also added that some releases were expected sooner than that. He said, “Tomorrow there’s a smaller announcement.”
Gurman even provided extra information about what is on Apple’s agenda for later this week. He added, “For Friday, Apple Vision Pro reps are reaching out to press about an announcement to come. M4 MacBook Air within weeks.”
However, fans have been left disappointed as they were anticipating the launch on Tuesday. Considering hat the iPhone SE 4 has been hyped up considerably, expectations of getting to see what was on offer were high.
Notably, iPhone SE 4 is expected to be similar to iPhone 14 and borrow many of the important parts from iPhone 16 including the latest chip (A18), 8GB RAM, as well as a boosted camera. It will be an artificial intelligence enabled smartphone and will likely be worlds apart from the iPhone SE 3, which was launched in 2022.
As far as the Apple iPhone SE 4 price was concerned, then do know that it is expected to be around Rs 49000 (just under $500 in the US).
